Next Iteration Ensemble commits to devise, perform, produce, and promote thought-provoking, culturally-inclusive and intersectional* theater; perform under-represented work, re-imagine known works; and collaborate locally, nationally and internationally by engaging our audience, communities and other artists.

*"Intersectionality is an analytic sensibility, a way of thinking about identity and its relationship to power. Originally articulated on behalf of black women, the term brought to light the invisibility of many constituents within groups that claim them as members but often fail to represent them. The better we understand how identities and power work together from one context to another, the less likely our movements for change are to fracture." – Kimberle Williams Crenshaw

Pay-what-you-can theater at Next Iteration

We believe that theater is a collaboration between the audience and players, and that no matter what your circumstances, you are welcome to be a part of our audience. Our tickets are always pay-what-you-can! Please pay as much as you can to help cover the cost of our work and so that our ensemble can make a living, but never, ever feel that you cannot pay enough. Our theater is your theater. And we always mean this.
